The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.”
…So remember: great achievements take time, there is no overnight success.
-Leo Tolstoy, Russian Novelist
Sometimes it’s hard for us to be patient in order to see results, especially since we have become accustomed to instant gratification in other aspects of life. Most of us aren’t born good CrossFitters and will spend countless hours perfecting our skills and building our strength–but remember: CrossFit is a JOURNEY. If we were already good at everything then we wouldn’t need to train, but thats the beauty of CrossFit. You will never be the best at everything, which means you’ll always need to train, but with training comes strength, confidence, power, health, wellness, friendships, laughter, community, and faith. So even if getting that muscle-up or bodyweight snatch doesn’t happen overnight, remember to celebrate the process of being part of a community.
We need volunteers for the IBB!!!
The Inner Box Battle is fast approaching, and we are in need of some volunteers! We need help in setting up equipment, rep-counting, and readying athletes for their heat times. If you are interested in volunteering your time that would be greatly appreciated! Please sign up on the white board ASAP!
