Just because you are close to your goal doesn’t mean stop!
SFH Proteins: Pure, Recovery, Rejuvenate!
I hear these questions a lot: “Which protein should I take?” and “What’s the difference between these three proteins?”
Well the answer depends on your goals, your body’s specific needs, and your workout intensity. SFH is a company that prides itself on making products that are clean and free from any soy products, synthetics, dyes, or artificial flavors. They use a non-denatured whey protein concentrate to increase absorption within the body.
- Pure: This product contains 23 grams of 100% pure whey protein per scoop with a low amount of lactose and cholesterol, with a high amount of calcium. It also contains an array of both essential amino acids and BCAA’s to support and maintain healthy muscle growth. You can take this protein any time during the day. Add it to your morning smoothie or afternoon shake.
- Recovery: This product contains 17 g of 100% pure whey protein per scoop, as well as creatine, glutamine, glucosamine, leucine, amino acids, carnitine, ribose, and taurine, which are all designed to speed muscle cell recovery, increase muscle strength, decrease fatigue, and support healthy joint function. Take a scoop right after your workout, and then eat a regular meal no later than 90 minutes after to continine to support muscle growth and recovery.
- Rejuvenate: This product contains 18.7 grams of 100% pure whey protein per scoop as well as glutamine, glucosamine, and chondrotin sulfate to maintain the health and flexibility of your joints. If you have been experiencing problems with lack of range of motion, or have decreased cartilage in your joints or other joint problems, this protein may be able to offer some support. Take one scoop in the morning or any time to reap the benefits of these nutrients.
So to answer all of your questions…once again what are your goals, activity levels, needs? After you workout, you need to replenish what you have lost and give your body energy to rebuild and repair. Taking recovery would be optimal at this time. If you need to add protein to your breakfasts, lunch, or snacks in order to add in some nutrition and protein, then taking pure protein would be a good idea. And if you experience joint problems, adding in rejuvenate can help support the health and flexibility your joints.
