Tuesday 5.6.14

It doesn’t matter if you’ve failed or if you’ve been beaten.  All that matters is that you learn something, get back up, and try again.  Because winning is a good feeling, but winning when nobody else thought you could is an awesome feeling.

Have you ever heard anyone tell you that you can’t do something? Either because you aren’t smart enough, or strong enough, or fast enough? When I hear the words “I can’t”, sometimes it feels so much easier to just give in rather than to put in the effort to try. CrossFit can feel this way. We often times tell ourselves “I can’t,” because it’s easier just to give up and never try then to try and fail…and fail again. However, when we do actually succeed, we are overcome with such incredible joy and excitement because we proved ourselves wrong. I know that trying is hard, but not trying is even harder. I challenge you this week to start something, work on a new skill or movement you never thought you could do. You might just be surprised about the progress you make when you actually WORK for something!

The CDR-BQ was a blast! Thanks for everyone that came and brought food and drinks!
