This is such a true statement! When it comes to fitness, being at the box, making plans with those we care about, school, work, etc…we all have 24 hours in a day, we all have responsibilities and things come up that are more important…but the excuse of “I don’t have time” can be answered with “if it’s truly important to you, you’ll make time.”  Your health and fitness should be a priority, even if it’s for an hour a day during group class, before or after work/school/daily life. We’ve all had convos with our friends from the box, or have seen something posted on social media, about not having time to workout…not everyone can make it every single day because people are busy and have lives outside of CrossFit. I’m one of those people, too – life can get overwhelming when there’s a lot on your plate! BUT when I hear someone say they’re too busy and don’t have enough time, but refuse to work it into their schedule to make a morning class when it’s a total possibility, I kinda smirk and think of everyone I know that’s worked an hour workout into their busy schedule or gave up an extra hour of sleep to get their training in. Next time you’re about to say “I don’t have time,” take a look at a lot of your classmates around you who have sacrificed and figured out an hour they could squeeze in a workout, commit yourself to giving up an hour of TV on the couch to go to bed early and get up in the AM if possible to come in. If you want it bad enough, you’ll find a way!
