The holiday weekend is a great time to get in your active recovery! Active recovery is an important part of your long term commitment to health and wellness. Regular exercise and good food choices are complemented by rest and recovery strategies. One easy recovery strategy – plan one active recovery day every week. Get outside with friends and family and enjoy your favorite activities. Hiking, biking, camping, swimming, golf – anything that you enjoy, that gets you moving at a leisurely pace.
