CONGRATULATIONS TO RAYMOND M!
Raymond started a one-on-one 30 Day Challenge last month – just as we were heading into the holidays. Normally I discourage starting a strict challenge in the middle of the holidays, when temptations are around every corner. But Raymond had a specific goal and a specific timeframe. He is leaving for a year-long work opportunity in China at the end of January. And we wants to look and feel his best when he heads off for this huge adventure. So we developed his plan, came up with a few simple meals he could cook for himself, and identified a few go-to restaurant meals so he could still go out with friends and family. Raymond sent me photos of every meal, took his supplements, got plenty of sleep, asked questions, and maintained his enthusiasm throughout the process. He did not cheat. Not at Christmas. Not at New Years. Not at any of the parties and gatherings he attended.
AND THE RESULT… HE LOST 18 POUNDS IN 30 DAYS!
Raymond will continue with a maintenance plan we developed together and his goal is to lose another 6 lbs by the end of the month, when he leaves for China. If you have a goal, what are you waiting for? There will be no “perfect” time. There will be no “easy” time.
A year from now (or even a month from now), you will wish you started today!
