Ready for some gymnastics?!
Coach Calvin Davis just spent 16 hours at a gymnastics certification this weekend, and is excited and ready to help members learn the strategies and skills needed to perfect the pull-up, ring dip, muscle-up, handstand-pushup, handstand walks, and many more! Gymnastics are a core part of CrossFit, and will definitely make an appearance in this year’s Open workouts. Gymnastics are not only about strength, they are about coordination, flexibility, and most importantly PATIENCE! These movements are difficult, and doing them properly takes take and practice. We at CDR are committed to achieving your goals, but remember that building a solid foundation is key to perfecting any movement. So get ready to work on your gymnastic skills this week!
- This Wednesday there will be a competition class from 5-7pm, there will be no Oly Lifting class at all this week
- Friday is “Bring a Friend” Day! Please bring a friend for a great wod and a good time!
- This Saturday there will be a muscle-up class from 8-9am. Anyone close to their first MU or who wants to know the strategies to get one should please attend!!
