Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.
Are you getting in your ROMWOD?
We have been doing ROMWOD regularly after class, but have you been taking it seriously? I know that after a WOD sometimes you just want to lay on the floor or get your stuff and go, but these videos are only 10-12 minutes long, and they are vital to your recovery. This stretching elongates your muscles and helps to prevent injury. Sometimes you may feel ok, but it only takes one wrong move to completely throw your body off track. So remember taking 10 or 15 minutes here everyday could prevent months off from being injured.
