New Year: New You!

With the new year right around the corner, I bet most of you are thinking about your resolutions-”I’m going to lose weight,” “I’m going to workout 5 Β days a week,” “I’m going to start eating healthy again.” These are all great goals, but often times we tend to set the bar pretty high and end up making goals are that unattainable or unrealistic. Then what starts out as being a New Year’s resolution turns into a complete failure. However, with guidance and support from T-mac, your resolutions can turn into a reality. Starting in January, we will be doing another challenge: Β New Year: New You.Β We will help you set realistic goals, whether its weight loss, muscle gain, or overall body composition change, and give you the skills in which to attain them. This challenge will be similar to ones in the past, with the infamous cleanse week, carb cycling, and cheat meals. During this challenge, we want to help you not only meet your goals, but go beyond them. We will be teaching you how to change your metabolism and eating habits so that you will be able to live a healthy life even after the challenge has ended. Changing the way you eat is not just a short term solution, its a total lifestyle solution. I know that a lot of you enjoyed success during the last challenge, and we hope that many of you who have never done a challenge before are motivated to get out of you comfort zone and just go for it! We will be there to help and support you, but ultimately, you are in charge of your own health and getting it back on track!

CDR Anniversary Party!

Its that time again! CrossFit CDR will be celebrating its 4th year of being a box, and we would like everyone of you to come and celebrate with us! Without your continued support, help, and prayers, CDR would not be where it is today. We are so grateful for your love of CrossFit and CDR, so let’s party with pizza, cake, drinks, games, awards, and much more! We are encouraging everyone to “dress to impress,” as we’ve all seen you in your workout clothes (even though some of you already dress to impress when you WOD!). So let’s get fancy and celebrate 4 years of CDR community!

Details

When: 6 pm, kids welcome (there will be a bounce house!)

Food: pizza, cake, margaritas, and various libations (if you want to bring your own wine or drinks, feel free!)
